examples:

considerations:

  • common changes could be put in docs-resources (or other submodules if needed) to make deployment easier
    • NOTE: some rework of existing specs needed for this (possible example: common preface pulled in from docs-resources)
  • testing submodules deployments on all specs
  • any tooling to allow for automated changes to multiple repos where common changes can't be submodules in

I did find this GitHub Action the other day to update the submodule: https://github.com/marketplace/actions/github-action-submodule-updates

Perhaps we can use this, or something like it to automatically pull submodule changes.
