How to override particular field in an object in JSON Schema

Hi,

Let's say I have this JSON Schema:

  type: "object",
  required: ["lat", "lon"],
  properties: {
    lat: { type: "number" },
    lon: { type: "number" },
    name: {
      type: "object",
      properties: {
        first: { type: "string" },
        last: { type: "string" }
      }
    }
  }
};

I know I can provide a custom components for the whole schema from the documentation. I would like to learn if I can override only a particular field in the schema, for example name field in this case? I didn't find relevant documentation about and I would like to make sure if this is supported or not.
