Hello,

great work. Thank you very much for sharing! I now have the KMIP server running in a Docker.

Unfortunately I only have production NAS where I can't do much experimentation, so I have a two questions in advance that I can't try out:

  1. does an entry have to be made in config.sh for each NAS as a client (“SSL_CLIENT_NAME=IP:”)?
  2. does the Docker have to be rebuilt after changing the config.sh? Or is it sufficient to restart it?
  3. Do all get the same certificates?
  4. is there anything else that needs to be considered if the KMIP server is to be used for multiple clients?
  5. what happens if the KMIP server is not available when booting NAS? Is it then sufficient to make it available? Or do I have to initiate a restart of the NAS?

Addendum:
6. I have just had another look at Config.sh and noticed that the IP address is in quotation marks:

SSL_SERVER_NAME="IP:192.xxx.X.XX”
SSL_CLIENT_NAME="IP:192.xxx.X.XXX”

Is this syntax correct?

Hello,
it's me again, does nobody have a tip or hint on what to consider when using the KMIP server with multiple clients? I have not found any reference to this in the documentation.
Thank you very much for any advice!
