Viewing reports in Gmail #1201
-
I have PST emailing reports to my gmail address, which I view in gmail using Firefox. However, the spacing is all off. i.e. nothing is lined up correctly so it is difficult to make out some of the details when there are a lot of columns. If I cut and paste the data into notepad everything looks fine and columns/data line up correctly. Does anyone else use gmail and have a better way to look at the reports? I've tried Chrome, Edge, outlook.com, changing gmail font to fixed spacing, without success. Thanks! |

I've been doing the same copy and pasting like you're describing. It's not too bad if you're on a computer with a big enough screen. It's a bit more tedious when on mobile - I end up pasting into word to use the pinch to zoom / auto formatting feature to see things more clearly. Maybe other folks have more elegant solutions! |

It works fine in Thunderbird if that's any help (g-suite email address) |

I tried Thunderbird and the formatting was as I would expect. Guess I'll use that. Thanks for the suggestion. |

If this helps anyone - on mobile I find Code Editor - Compiler & IDE on Android and Runestone on iOS to format copied report text from emails well |
