not working in chrome or canary on AWS console

Any AWS console page breaks this plugin:
eg:
https://eu-central-1.console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/v2/

Incorrect highlighting or reported number of occurrences found. Hard to characterize as it appears that word delimiters on the AWS console break this plugin.
Not including any screenshots as I'd have to redact a lot, but it's clearly not working properly when used on any of the AWS console ec2 pages.
