RomM version
3.7.3

Describe the bug
Genre, franchise, collection and company all return 'No data available' when selected as a filter. They appear to be fine when you go into a platform and filter from there but not from the main search function.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load search from romm homepage
  2. Click on 'Genre'
  3. Or type a known genre eg 'Pinball'

Expected behavior
List of genres(matching if genre search term is used) should be returned.

  • Browser chrome & firefox
  • Version latest

I've seen this before, can you double-confirm you're running on the latest patch (use the tag in your docker-compose), and run a quick scan from the scan menu?

Hi @gantoine. Dropped the stack and removed the images and pulled a fresh version of latest and then did a quick scan as requested. Still getting the same 'No data available' message when selecting Genre, Franchise, Collection or Company. Status still seems populate fine, and oddly Age Rating is now also returning 'No data available'.

I did the above in chrome. Also tried in a Firefox private window to rule out local cache shenanigans but it was still the same.
Let me know if you need anything else checking from my side.

And you have IGDB credentials setup? Can you post a screenshot of any random matched game, AND of the filters showing "No data available"?

Checked the docker logs and not seeing anything in there when it happens.

Wait are you doing a search? Cause you need to search first to get results before you can filter them down. This page doesn't just allow you to filter our entire collection, as that would likely crash the client.

Yeah. Am wanting to access all of a particular genre regardless of the system eg lightgun. Fair enough. I guess this can be closed as user error then! Also found this which looks like you're a couple of steps ahead of me and what I was about to request. Nice work buddy. Thanks
