I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but some of our projects stopped building because maven fails to find com.google.code:straightedge.

Is this the same project?

Is there a changelog of what happened between 0.3 and 0.8? And why did you take down version 0.3?

It was ported for using jme3 libraries. The 0.3 version was the latest I found in the original google code page
