Cell borders are ignored in latex output (as_latex or gtsave("......tex"))

Reproducible example

Expected result

Came here looking for a solution to this. Anyone have workarounds for adding horizontal and vertical lines to latex tables in the meantime? I don't really need the full functionality (color, line width, etc.) that cell_borders() has, I just want to add a "normal" line.
