addMinicharts should work with SpatialXXXDataFrame objects #8

For instance:

mySpatialData <- readOGR(...)
leaflet() %>% 
  addMinicharts(data = mySpatialData, chartdata = ~ var1 + var2 + var3)

Any update about this issue? Making this improvement would really be beneficial for better code and compatibility with leaflet syntax.
