Current conda issues

Adding a note that the conda environment cannot be created due to issues with intel as explained here, will close this issue when it is back up

(Just put this here in case anyone else runs into the same problem, let me know if there's a better way to address this!)

There are actually other problems with the environment.yml file. For example, Anaconda has updated its terms of service recently. Many of the channels in the file aren't actually required and can be removed.

You're welcome to try and make a pull request, if you want or I can do it and close this issue.

No, it isn't urgent at all. If you're not an expert with conda, it might be a fun thing to learn. Some of this might help you; it also explains the licensing issue that I mentioned above. I only heard about it recently and addressing it was on my to-do list.

Let me know if/when you decide you can't do it and I'll take over. But, take your time!
