I humbly present this loving feature request at the temple of the clipboard manager.
When pressing CTRL+E on a image clip (CF_DIB) please open in image edition rather than text editor !
Open in the system's default image editor
I would recommend for instance the ShareX image editor since it is especially adapted at "pastable images"
For instance it has readily available drawing tools, arrow, circle, freehand etc..
And when you press saves it saves the images to disk without asking for a file name and it also copies it automatically to the clipboard
Please consider doing the same for video clips (open them for instance is losslesscut or openshot, the system's default video editor/clipper) (CF_DIBV5, CF_HDROP, custom format that open source NLE video editors use when copy/pasting clips around?)
Please consider doing the same for audio clips (open for instance in audacity) CF_WAVE clip type
thank you !
