"Background: I wanted to include a time specification (in the example “14 days”) in the title of assays without using tags in order to be able to search for them. As described in the attached file SEEK_strange search results.pdf, the best approach was to put the time in brackets, as underscores and spaces completely prevented the search or retrieval.

However, when searching for “(14 days)”, titles with e.g. “(147 days)” are also found in addition to this exact expression at the end. My colleague has similar problems, e.g. that “Pan003” is not found as part of a title if the expression is preceded by an underscore in the title."
