Just to start off, I think this is a great plugin, this is not meant to be an insulting kind of post, but just a question I was curious about.
(I also do not know how to code myself, before anyone mentions something about this.)
Being that on Linux this plugin is basically the only FOSS SFZ playing GUI based plugin available, with all the Linux based audio developers that help out with various plugins, projects, programs, etc. and just developers in general, why wouldn't this plugin have more people regularly contributing and putting out more releases? I say this because I noticed that the last release available on this site was in January 2024.
I would think that many of these audio based developers would also make music and would use this plugin for their virtual instrument based needs. I would think that many would be adding features that they desire for their own needs.
Often times in Linux there are multiple similar projects being worked on so this spreads developers focus but in this case, this is pretty much the only one in development so it just makes me wonder.
Also if you take in account Windows & Mac developers that may contribute to the plugin as well this increases the question.
Again this is a great plugin and I see that a lot of great work has gone into it, so this is not meant to be insulting, hopefully it is not. I was just wondering does anyone have any ideas of why this might be?
