I'm getting this error when attempting to install the Chrome Extension:

An error has occurred
Package is invalid. Details: 'Could not load extension icon 'imanges/icon_96.png'.'.

RELOAD CLOSE

Running Win7/64 and Chrome Version 30.0.1599.28 beta-m

Experiencing the same issue. Definitely a shame, as I've been loving this extension for months.

New users can not install this extension "'imanges/icon_96.png'." looks like a simple typo in the package!!!

Getting the same error. Anxious to try this out, as I just ordered a HP Chromebook 11 and it's due to ship here on the 21st.

There are forks that have fixed this issue: https://github.com/ocorreiododiogo/simplenote

You'll have to install it from source though, but that isn't very hard. Just google for it.
