How did you all get the college data ?

I am trying to explore the app and I have a question in my mind about how did you all get the data of the college and faculties. did you manually collect and made a Json out of it or did you all take some other approach? Please share

Hey Amandeep,
As this application was built for students without any data given by the college, I had no option but to create an entire db on my own. As it uses Firebase RealtimeDB, the data was uploaded through the admin application which is a private repository. I made a JSON file of the data stored in the db for backup and further usage. If you'd like to contribute to this project, please let me know via e-mail.

VTOP will be published on Google Play Store soon, do review it.

Thanks, Shreyansh for sharing your insights. I would have loved to contribute to VTOP but the codebase is in java and I code in kotlin. The only thing I can do for now is to give my reviews when VTOP will be live on PlayStore.

No worries, but I'd suggest you to be familiar with Java too as at an industry level, recruiters do judge you from your java basics and then make you code in Kotlin.
