Control plane config not picking up network

Hi,
I have deployed three control plane and worker nodes to my ESXi 8 cluster. However, when applying the control plane yaml config (which I successfully validated), the node does get a DHCP IP or DNS servers in my LAN etc (see screenshot below). The network-related configuration is as below:

I also configured CIlium, in my config, like so:

This means that cni is set to none.

I have a DHCP server set in the network, which is configured and authorised to give out IP addresses.

It is not possible to guess what is wrong from the screenshots.

On ESXi, you should have serial console logs available for the VM, you can read them yourself to understand what's wrong or attach to this issue.
