[FR] consider publishing on crates.io

I understand the need for a fork of this crate. However, it would be great if this crate (as a starting point) would be made available on crates.io. Every application currently depending on libsignal (like gurk-rs) must depend on git releases at the moment, which is detrimental for distro packagers and maintainers. Publishing this would really ease things along.

I think the conversation and concerns for signalapp/libsignal#490 is still relevant, and publishing our fork here wouldn't make much of a difference (it's not even our only fork). I'll leave this open because clearly we are not on crates.io, but discussion should continue on our main repo.
