While the geometryRefinement has been optimized for fault tolerance on large images with ill-defined center/distances, for very fine refinement as it is sometimes done with goniometer setup, it would be nice to be able to perform the lease-squares fitting in a different space (2th_deg for example).

To enable this, the calibrant should be able to report the theoretical position in various units ... then upgrade GeometryRefinement
