how do we handle event and showOn/hideOn discrepencies

How do we handle this scenario...

In this scenario the showOn and hideOn are focus related but the show/hide behavior will be declared as if the user wanted event='hover' handling. This produces weird behavior.

This may be an implementation issue but we should encourage that people "fall into the pit of success" with this addon. I think this may do that.
