If you are using a non-local instance of couchdb or localhost is secured with a password then Baron's configuration requires an optional password field?

At this time use case is not supported, maybe possible later down the line

Adding support for couchdb credentials.
968f5df 
 * Currently you have to lock down couchdb manually and provide baron
   with the couchdb username and pass
 * To completely close out issue #23, we need to fully automate the
   creation of the baron and bitstamped database with the user admin
   and password set in the config.js

My mistake, it's fixed with the exception of setup.
