Chemical equation

I type following chemical equation
$$
\ce{H2 + O2 -> H2O}
$$

But it does not render it into chemical equation.

Can somebody tells me how to cope with this problem? Thanks.

I think it's up to katex. you cannot get what you expected if this feature is not supported by katex.
