Controlling AC via Broadlink with 0.5 degrees jumps

Hi,

First, I would like to say thank you very much for this great great function- THANK YOU!!
Actually it's not bug or an error, it's a question - is there any way that I'm able to use "smartir" with an AC that works with 0.5 degree jumps (20, 20.5, 21, 21.5 etc.)??
I have tried to use this amazing tool but it's a quite complex it seems (especially for me that I don't know how to code at ALL) - https://github.com/sargue/learn-broadlink and there is no 0.5 degree jumps.

PLEASE ADVISE.
