I feel that this project is getting close to the event horizon on how much we can continue developing without some unit test coverage.

Some basic asserts should be fairly easy to implement about matching urls to schemas and so on.

A massive number of changes, refactoring, bugfixing and tests have been added to my fork (https://github.com/phptek/silverstripe-staticsiteconnector). @stojg have a look at the sizable test suite it now has.
