You could update the Bulk ignore issues example to use scan_item.type = project filter #70

  • since there is no "global ignore this issue" type feature in the GUI for code issues, having a better bulk ignore example is kind of important. What constitutes better? Using the scan_item.type = project filter lets a user fairly easily target all the occurrences of an issue in a project.
  • this would be much more efficient for Snyk's processing
  • it would also make the usefulness of the scan_item query filter in version 2024-10-15 of https://api.snyk.io/rest/orgs/{org_id}/issues/{issue_id} much more apparent to your user base.

I'm guessing that many users learn to use the APIs from the cx_tools project and this would help them learn to use this endpoint well. scan_item is a non-obvious filter to use, because you have to absorb that you can set type = project. Seeing an example in the tools would help drive home the point.
