the diff between file size and array size is too large

In this issue, I said the diff size between table and file is too large, and let me open a new issue to track this problem since that one was closed because too many questions mixed.

I find V2 has committed recently, is this issue solved by V2? If so, how to use it? If not, when #1676 is done, this issue will be solved?
