I'm a software developer with a passion for automating things.
Thus I have been using home-assistant (https://home-assistant.io) for a while, having done some small contributions there.
Recently I have discovered ESPHome (https://esphome.io) and implemented some small features related to displays and images (e.g. support for transparency and automatic downloading of MDI images, and downloading and decoding at runtime of PNG images).
I'm currently working on adding JPEG support to the online image runtime decoding for ESPHome.
