fcitx5
daemon running on Linux. For Wayland applications, it will use thetext-input-v3
protocol; while for XWayland apps, I have set theXMODIFIERS
variable.Halloy runs on Wayland, but it does not seem to talk to my IMF — for example, I cannot do
Ctrl+Shift+u
on the message box to type a special character. Some specific applications require specific solutions to get it working. There are variables for GTK and Qt apps, for example. What is Halloy using?
