Catalina support?

Thank you for this I've been using it perfectly on Mojave but needed to update to Catalina for Xcode 12 and unfortunately brightness has stopped working again

Any ideas on what I'd need to change to support Catalina?

hey! had the problem and and a solution for it too ;)
just follow the instructions here !!!

1. download and install the last patch ....

2. just install my brightness control patch again with the tool the KEXT

https://github.com/chris1111/Kext-Droplet/files/4143601/Kext-Droplet.dmg.zip

REBOOT, DONE !!!

Oh wow thank you @stecker870! I've done everything from step 1 apart from this line:

For macOS Catalina 10.15.4+ Install ➣ /Library/Preferences/com.apple.security.libraryvalidation.plist

Do I need to replace com.apple.security.libraryvalidation.plist with the Install file from the Install folder?

install catalina with the dosdude method simply follow the steps as described and use the pre install option !
