signup.steemit - Page is looping popup reCAPTCHA, cant connect

I'm unable to register since the page is looping with popups containing a message it cant connect to the reCAPTCHA server after finishing the check. Firefox 62.0.3
The by Google provided reCAPTCHA is generally not a functional problem on websites.

Update: email address/account seems be queued during those loops when attempting to re-register at this current date 20181107(msg: email already used for registration), awaiting any confirmation by mail.
