XML report along with console output?

I'm running my tests with the following snippet, and while this generates an XML file, it suppresses the console output as well (printing success/failure messages in realtime as tests are executing). Is this expected behaviour? Am I setting this up incorrectly?

I was about to report the same… I was hoping for an ingredient that works like the HTML reporter, and only adds an additional report, without changing other reporting.

Maybe https://hackage.haskell.org/package/tasty-jenkins-xml-0.1.0.0 does what I expected…
