Is your proposal related to a problem?

You are not hashing the password before storing it the DB .
Directly storing the password to lead to breaches and can make the org vulnerable .

Describe the solution you'd like

Using a hashing function to hash the password for better security .
PLease assign this issue to me under GSSOC and hacktoberfest

@subhadipbhowmik Have raised a PR which will close this issue . PR #269
I think it was crucial task that incorporates the security of your web app and the trust of the users . So I think it deserves at least LEVEL-2 label.
