Using the private SSID on my router, I found myself unable to use a Chromecast. I suspect this may be related to some sort of AP isolation, unless of course the UPnP / Multicast support is not enabled through the firmware.
Your Wi-Fi network configuration prevents devices from communicating with Chromecast. In order to resolve this issue, you will need to disable AP (access point) isolation, also known as client isolation, on your router. Please refer to your router documentation to learn how to disable AP isolation.

This is the second report of access point isolation we've had. Very odd since we haven't enabled access point isolation. Must be due to flawed firewall rules.
