Cannot see "background" css style into .epub format document

Hi to all,

I created an .epub document from a Joplin HTML note and converted in .epub format with Sigil.

All is fine, but I cannot see the style for "background" css property.

This is bad for documents tah use "highlighted" text (for example using the HTML tag).

Seems that Sumatra cannot render this property. Other epub viewer like Calibre does.

Anyone have a solution?

This is basically a problem with the core engine so MuPDF does not respect inline or multiple CSS resources here I altered the html and those colours are not seen by MuPDF as they would need to be added to its custom ePub resource file.
