To facilitate more complex sequencing arrangements, I'd love to see the ability to save or export one ( or more ) bars, ideally into the clipboard, but being able to save them to files might be cool too. This will make it a lot easier to spin up multiple instances of b-steps to create drastically more complex patterns without having to make b-steps itself support more bars.

@therealfakemoot , the way you can do this now is (if i understood your request correct):

  • drag a bar onto one of the 4 clipboards (lower right corner)
  • save the content of the clipboard as a 'snapshot' to disk (down arrow)
  • in your 2nd bstep load that snapshot into one of the clipboards (up arrow)
  • drag the clipboard to a bar
