I would not hold my breath waiting for Mozilla to (re)implement logins API for web-extensions, #48 will not be implemented anytime soon and running Firefox ESR pre-60 is a security risk now.

With this in mind, a conterpart of Migrating old passwords section that will document how-to export passwords and form logins from gnome-keyring would be great.
