Ignore specific files/folders with pattern

It would be helpful to be able to ignore specific files/folders with a pattern. I could not find something related in the README.

Maybe a flag like:

-i, --ignore [file|directory|glob] file(s) to ignore/exclude

An ignore file like .textidoteignore could also be a solution, but providing a parameter option would be better in my mind.
