Hey there, Im pretty new to all of this and I really want to learn. To trying to connect to open networks I've found myself down the rabbit hole of aircrack-ng and homebrew but for the life of me, I can't get this to work.

On an m2 Mac, hope you can help me out or refer me to a guide where I can install this.

In fact, homebrew is not compatible with Mac. You can actually use servbay to manage the environment and install the packages you need. This is more professional on Mac.
