! at the end of a word is very common. For example, if you search for: Why do people call youtube yt!

Then you are asking a question, but it'll take it as a bang. But on the other side, nobody_(almost)_ uses ! at the beginning of a word.

Duckduckgo supports both. If we are cloning duckduckgo, then we might do it as well.
