Current behavior

The drag-to-select element freezes if cursor moves off the screen and the selection is not updated.

Expected behavior

Minimal reproduction of the problem with instructions

  1. Go to https://stackblitz.com/edit/react-kgyzvm?file=app%2Fapp.tsx
  2. Start a selection and move the cursor outside the window

Result: the selection element froze and the selection is not updated
