Llama3 demo multi-device tests hanging with trace #17791

Llama3 demo test are currently hanging on main, when trace is used. This only affects multi-device N300/T3K.

After bissect, we tracked the problem to this commit: d2ba114

@cfjchu provided an initial fix in: #17696
But the T3K demo-pipeline still hangs.
