Feature description

Hello, I wanted to report I've finally managed to make the application self-updatable through the fallback Ur (fur) package manager, when using the DogeOS environment.

Nothing, seemed something quite significant to report. The application package on the fur is called termux-bin. I'm sorry but I still haven't had the time to make the on-device build from source package available.

I'm about to package the rest of the plugins as well.

Steps to reproduce the behavior.

Well, this is not technically an issue, on the opposite. The problem if anything is that the default debian environment shipped with the app doesn't have this feature available.

What is the expected behavior?

Well, I'd certainly like if termux shipped the DogeOS environment instead than the debian one, so to also gain sources compatibility with the desktop through the Ur.

System information

  • Termux application version: 0.118.1
  • Android OS version: DogeOS
  • Device model: HIP-01
