When a language is installed in development mode, syntax highlighting is done by searching for keyword ranges in a given text and then setting appropriate decorations which also includes a (key)words from comments and strings.

This could be improved by searching for string and comment ranges and skip decorating language keywords which range is not overlapping with string and comment range.
