Currently, no dark theme is defined. On desktop, this doesn't cause any graphical issues: the lite theme will take precedence over the browser settings. However:

  • on Android, the OS will attempt to make the lite theme dark by inverting colours, which leads to the board and pieces being rendered incorrectly
  • Users may not enjoy having their theme locked to lite mode
