SAMP crashes when opening a second instance #107
Comments
To be honest I don't quite understand what you mean, but using modloader can do the job of installing multiple different modified sa in one gtasa, such as GTA Alien City, GTA Gostown Paradise, GTA Grandcarma v2.2 beta, GTA Journey To Mars BETA, GTA LOTRS, GTA Mushroomia, etc. Of course samp and MTA are also possible, but I haven't tested it yet. all these 3rd party team modified mods can be installed in same gtasa directory by modloader, if you mean to talk about this, you can learn some knowledge of modloader in the following link, which will help you to better use the modloader: |
I mean that with the modloader installed, the game loses the ability to run in multiple windows: it crashes when trying to open the second SAMP window. For example, I want one samp session in one window, and another in another window, and so on. I understand that you may consider this a niche problem, but I personally know dozens of players who cannot use the modloader because of this. |
I see what you mean, it's a problem I really haven't encountered and I'm sorry I can't be of some help to you, |
I was wondering if it's possible for a modloader to support multiple instances of a game.
For example, with this mode, or sampfuncs with multiprocess mode on, the game just crashes when the user tries to open a second instance of the game.
I know a lot of people who would like to use the modloader, but the ability to open multiple game instances is too important for them. I have very little idea how the modloader works, but since no one has reported this problem in 10 years, bringing it to the surface is the least I can do.
Thank you for your attention.
