Map always zoomed out instead of using user zoom setting

Does this affect:
Drag and Drop UI - map component
Drag and Drop UI - map component
Drag and Drop UI - map component

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new project
2. Add map
3. Under simple tab in the column at the right side, set zoom to any value that's not -15.

Expected Behavior

Zoom level updates on map load.

Actual Behavior

The map always gets the most zoomed out value
