Bypassed Plugin Doesn't Update Grid Changes

Additional info: when the plugin is bypassed and you scroll the interface, you don't see the grid lines change, but you do see the parameter value change in the non-GUI representation of the plugin. Also when you CTRL+drag points they are applying to the current grid parameter value, despite not showing the grid in the GUI. So I suppose the issue is just a bit of a code architectural one, where the GUI sometimes doesn't receive the correct updates, when the plugin is bypassed
