This file is a verbose listing of just about every operational bug fix
made, as well as warnings, new config verbs, and radical code rewrites.
This file *MAY* contain stuff that hasn't made it to the docs yet, and is
always updated with each new FAN executable.
This file should always be checked first if you are upgrading versions
of FAN. You should also check if you missed any releases along the way,
as you may be missing something important! I know it looks painful, but
please read the new stuff thoroughly - it may save you some hair (but
may not :( ).
The symbols along the left hand side tell you want kind of a change it is.

1.00 [---------] - The "First Public Release" Version
* Cleaned up the error handling code. 'Cannot open Telegard config'
should only be reported once, and not for every file area now.
* Last scan time/date is now stored in an external file, TGFAN.LSD.
This means that, when upgarding, execution of FAN -R is NOT
necassary.

0.99.B3 [SEP 8 98 ] - The "New Testers" Version
ð This is a simple .DIF upgrade. Just run UNDIF * over your FAN
directory.
+ Added multi-node locking. (PLEASE TEST)
+ You may now specify ranges of areas for the FileArea lines. This
allows systems with many file areas to include them all in one
run. For example, say you currently have:

ð This is NOT a .DIF upgrade.
û The sample .CFG file provided in B1 wouldn't work with FAN. Fixed
config file parsing bugs.
û Documentation: Changed JAM copyright notice from 'JAM(mbp) API', since
I'm using my own JAM code.
+ Added sample HEADER.TXT and FOOTER.TXT to archive.
+ Gave Ramon van der Winkel credit for his .DIF system.

0.99.A10 [JULY 21 98] - The "Messages missing" Version
û Improved handling of offline files. They won't even be listed now.
û Fixed a few bugs in JAM handling.
* "Message written to area %s.." message is now displayed for both
Squish and JAM message areas. Should I remove this altogether?
+ Added ^APID kludge to top of message.
+ Added /0 switch. This should only be used if you need to debug
something, as it will cause TgFan to post messages with *every* file on
the system. (Used when debugging here...)

0.99.A9 [JUNE 30 98] - The "Jam Is Here!" Version
# Fan's "short name" has been changed to TgFan to avoid the possiblity
of a lawsuit from another programmer. :-) Please let me know if you
see somewhere that I missed when updating the name.
+ JAM support is here! Keep in mind that this is my own API (I didn't
use the code provided with the dev. kit), and it has not been proven,
so there may still be a few unnoticed bugs. However, it worked with
all the tests I did here.
By default, all message areas are Squish areas. To make TgFan use
a JAM area, add the following line to your MsgArea...End block:
Format Jam
If you want, you can add "Format Squish" instead, but it
is not necassary to do so.

0.99.A8 [JUNE 27 98] - The "Times?" Version
è FAN's NAME WILL BE CHANGING! I have to come up with a new "short"
name (instead of FAN), as there is already a program out there using
that which has been in existence since '95 or '96. I'm not about
to leave myself open for a lawsuit. Suggestions? (TGFAN?)
- Removed the "opening file area listing..." log message.
û Removed '.' at end of high ascii headers.
+ Added some debug code to help determine why the program was skipping
files.
