How to save the highlights and notes as pdf file and send it to server

I like this rangy highlighter but need to save the highlights and its associated notes into a pdf file and send it to server.
Could you give some direction how to implement this?
Also, in the highlighter.html, I am not sure how the notes work. Where the notes go on the page?
