Great question.

Would you mind testing if the jammy version works? (It's mostly a question if glibc has shifted version or not.)

I think GitHub Runners only run on LTS releases, so we wouldn't see mantic there: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/using-github-hosted-runners/about-github-hosted-runners/about-github-hosted-runners#supported-runners-and-hardware-resources

I.e. supporting 23.10 would require switching to containers or similar. I'd guess that's not too difficult.
