First I want to thank you for this really nice and useful plugin.
I wonder if you could update your project to be compatible with logstash 1.5.
Elastic published a guidelines with all the details.

I'm not really confident with ruby but I probably could help you if you need :)

You should also publish your plugin as an official logstash plugin
